Humble Beginning with a big impact
  • Foundation: Established in March by three passionate entrepreneurs—Siew Je Nam, OngHan Leong, and Chan Chong Sang.
  • First Product Launch: Introduced pillows using basic sewing, cutting, and fiber-opening machinery
  • Initial Success: Sold 3,000 pillows on Lazada in under 10 minutes!

Transformational Changes
  • Transition to Private Limited: Transitioned from a partnership structure to a private limited company, Dormez Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd.
  • Production Growth: Expanded its product oerings by adding a new line of bed linens. Further expanded its factory space to 15,000 sqft and set up a dedicated warehouse fulfilment centre.
  • Continued E-Commerce Success: Flew brand was consistently recognized as a “Lazada Top Performer”.

  • New Product Line: Expanded its offerings by adding comforters to its product line.
  • New Brand Launch: The company launched its second brand, Kun, on Shopee.
  • Top Seller on Shopee: Kun consistently recognized as a “Top Selling Brand” on Shopee.

  • Offce Expansion: Built its first offce and hired a dedicated management team.
  • Factory Growth: Expanded the factory footprint to 25,000 sqft across two additional floors. Invested in advanced equipment, including quilting machines and a semiautomated fiber-filling machine.
  • Growing Workforce: Expanded the team to 30 employees.

  • Rebranding: Officially renamed to Dormez Fabrication Sdn Bhd.
  • Separation of Manufacturing and Trading: Commerce Sdn Bhd focusing on trading, and Dormez Flash, a new logistics business optimizing delivery services.
  • Expansion of Operations: Acquired its first prime mover with a semi-trailer. Additionally, new quilting machines, a cutting machine, and a packing machine were added.
  • Product Line Growth: Introduction of mattress protectors.
  • Factory Expansion: Expanded its factory and warehouse operations to a sizable 40,000 qft.

  • Obtain Grant: Received a Smart Automation Grant from the government, empowering it to further automate its processes.
  • Fleet Expansion: Acquired a second prime mover with a semi-trailer.
  • Top Performance: Kun continued its reign as one of Shopee’s “Best-Selling Brands”.
  • Workforce Growth: The team expanded to 100 employees, covering both management and operations.
